Backtrackit offers a wide range of features designed to support musicians in their music practice and growth. These features include the ability to isolate and extract vocals and instruments from any song, adjust the key and tempo, and access a large catalog of high-quality original backing tracks.

Music Practice Tools:

<ul>
 <li>Track Splitter: With the Track Splitter feature, you can remove or extract vocals to create a karaoke track of your songs. Additionally, you can control the volume of drums, bass, and piano using the Track Splitter stems player.</li>
 <li>Key/Bpm Control: This feature allows you to detect and shift the key and tempo of any song. You can then save these changes into a newly exported song.</li>
 <li>Advanced Looping: With Advanced Looping, you can loop and save precise parts of a song for focused practice.</li>
 <li>Advanced Equalizer: This feature enables you to save up to 5 custom presets and apply bass boost as desired.</li>
 <li>Singing Exercise: Practice singing the right notes in different orders and octaves with the Singing Exercise feature. The app will provide feedback on whether you're hitting the notes perfectly or not.</li>
 <li>Ear Training Exercise: Enhance your ear training skills by guessing the correct note played after hearing a reference note.</li>
 <li>Guitar/Piano Display: The app provides displays of 32 musical scales (major, dorian, Hungarian gypsy) and 30 types of chords (maj, sus4, min7) for guitar and piano.</li>
 <li>Metronome: Practice with a metronome of any time signature and tempo.</li>

Original Backing Tracks:

 <li>Backing Tracks (Jam Tracks): Play along with original tracks of different genres specifically created to improve your soloing skills.</li>
 <li>Live Notes Mode: In Live Notes Mode, you can see the chord progression of the backing track on the guitar fretboard or piano view. This helps you visualize the notes of the current chord highlighted along the scale.</li>
 <li>Fret Zealot and Visual Note Support: Connect Fret Zealot or Visual Note devices to see live chord progressions reflected on your guitar fretboard directly.</li>
 <li>Interactive Drums: Build drum tracks in the style of famous drummers for you to play along with.</li>
</ul>

Backtrackit's original backing tracks, particularly its unique "Live Notes Mode," have been instrumental in helping thousands of musicians improve their improvisation skills. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, jamming to these tracks will aid in developing a greater sense of music and improvisation.

Track Splitter Credits:

A free demo of the Track Splitter is available for users to try. However, credits are required to process more songs. Supported file formats include mp3, m4a, and wav, with a file size limit of 10 MB.

The supported music notations in the app are:
